We have mainly Pekin ducks, occasionally some Khaki Campbells. Our chicken flock is a mixed one of Buff Orpingtons, Light Brahmas, Black Star, ISA's, Australorps, Rhode Island Red and barnyard mix, which we keep together as one very colorful flock. Any chicks will of course be a barnyard mix although may show more characteristics of one of the breeds above. All our hens are extremely good layers.
Our geese too are kept as one flock and allowed to interact as they wish. We have Tufted Romans, Buff Toulouse, Toulouse and Pilgrims.
Our mixed flock of geese, who were bought for meat and eggs and have become spoiled feathered puppies that get into everything!
One of the Buff Toulouse looking regal.
Our Guinea Fowl are a great help at keeping ticks and other nasty pests in control. They, with the geese, are great watchdogs and warn us of anything untoward happening on the property.
Our flock of mixed colored Coturnix Quail

Jumbo White Quail. Nearly twice the size of standard quail, Jumbo Whites grow out to between 12-14 oz and lay 12-16 gram eggs. They are great for meat or eggs. and lack the aggresive nature of the Texas A&M's A low energy bird with a curious but calm disposition, they are easy to raise, make great pets, and are perfect for beginners and professional alike.
Jumbo Italian Quail. A pretty Golden colored bird. Exremely good layers, also a good meat bird due to it's size
